Garden II artwork. Created during artist-in-residence at the Kloostertuin in Deventer. A colorful impression of this garden by artist Marjet Visscher. A beautiful oasis of stunning colors. Marjet has been inspired by nature her entire life. She is drawn by what moves her, such as the unique play of light, the rhythms of leaves, layered structures, or unexpected glimpses. She doesn't want to literally capture reality, but rather to create new worlds in which the viewer can wander and marvel. Contrasts play a key role in her work: abstract and figurative, light and dark, bloom and decay, transparent and opaque. It is precisely in these tensions that the intensity arises that makes her work so vibrant and layered. Material: oil/pastel chalk on MDF. Dimensions: 20 x 30 cm. Delivery time: approximately 3 business days.
