Beautiful tea towel, designed by Hollandsche Waaren for the Zaans Museum. The Zaanse Schans, a world famous piece of Holland. Already in the nineteenth century, visitors and artists were attracted to this landscape of windmills and wooden houses. Claude Monet was also enthusiastic and here he has made at least 25 paintings during his stay. One is recently (2016) acquired by the Zaans Museum and specially Hollandsche Waaren designed this tea towel. Fine 100% cotton quality and exquisite weaving quality. Woven on jacquard loom.
